Frequency One®...your new, easy-to-use music system!

Do you like to listen to music…your music? Is there music you love to listen to, yet other musical genres…not so much? Do you have dozens, hundreds, even thousands of CDs–so many you've bought duplicates because you just forgot you had them already? Do you find yourself wishing to hear a some of your favorite tunes but have no idea where they are?

Listening to iTunes, Rhapsody, Pandora, Spotify, and others: is it time consuming and confusing to manage all of the accounts, User-IDs, and passwords?

If you are looking for an easier way to listen to your favorite music come on over to Frequency One an easy to use “music box”, programmed to learn your tastes and play your music from day one: like having your own personal DJ.

The system includes an Internet-connected Music Player to feed your existing audio system, and a personal Remote–one for each Frequency One listener in your home.

Your personal Remote is your identification, your logon and your password, your one way into your own Frequency One musical experience. Turn on your Remote and the music starts: your personal music station.

With Frequency One, you are no longer isolated in a private, ear-budded musical world: your music is shared with everybody present. When others connect with their Remotes, their music is shared with you automatically, and you all listen together. It's a uniquely social music experience.

Frequency One remote

How does Frequency One play what you like to hear? You load your own CD collection into your home Music Player. As the tracks from your collection are playing, use your Remote to vote for or against each track. As you vote for your favorite tracks, your positive votes accumulate, raising their position in your own personal “favorites” list.

As you might expect, tracks high on your personal list will be played more frequently. If you get tired of a track and stop voting for it, the track's ranking will drift downward and not be played as often. After Frequency One learns your tastes, you'll rarely hear a track you don't like.

Does Frequency One only play your top tracks? Not at all: that would be boring. (Actually, that would be like commercial radio.) Frequency One plays a few of your top tracks every hour, but also scans your music collection, playing some from the middle of your personal rankings and some from the lower range (except for any tracks that you have banned). The system also scours your collection for tracks you haven't heard recently, adding them into the mix. You'll be amazed by the hidden or forgotten gems you discover in your music collection, with pleasant surprises each time you listen.

When the system is playing tunes you haven't heard in a while, you might not remember the name of the song, the musician or group, or the year released. With Frequency One, just look at your Remote and those questions are answered.

Away from home? Your Frequency One Remote not only works with your own home Music Player, but also connects with other Frequency One players wherever you find them: at a friend's house, in a restaurant, the next state, across the country, or halfway around the world. When your unique, personal Remote connects, Frequency One knows where you are, and your favorite music follows you to that Music Player. Your tracks are added to the mix of music, and you hear your music along with that of other Frequency One users present.

And of course, when your Frequency One-subscribing friends come over with their Remotes, their music comes along and is added into the mix.

Like some tracks from your friends? When you hear a track that you do not already own, click the “Buy” button on your Remote Control and the song is yours. It's automatically sent to your Home Music Player and becomes part of your permanent collection along with the tracks from your collection of CDs.

Or, if you like the track but are not ready to buy it, vote for it using the “Vote ☺” button on your Remote Control. Immediately, a copy of that track is sent to your home Music Player where it will be mixed in with the rest of your music for a few free plays. Unless you buy it, when the free plays expire, it's gone.

Likewise, when your friends hear your music and want to buy any of your tracks, they click “Buy” or “Vote ☺” on their Remote Controls. It's that simple.
